During 2010 we've been working with Suretec Systems based in Aberdeen - designing and developing a new Drupal website for their new service delivering telephony services using the internet (VoIP - Voice over Internet Protocol).

SureVoIP has its own BT and Xconnect interconnects as well as various wholesale carrier VoIP suppliers. It has its own Ofcom number allocations allowing it to provide telephone numbers for all of the UK and Northern Ireland area codes as well as non-geographic numbers. It works closely with these companies to provide industry leading products and services.

Development

The site is built on Drupal 6 and makes use of a number of key modules: including Views, CCK, Panels, and DDBlock for the homepage slideshow with jQuery used for transitions.

Roger Matthew developed the code for the homepage 'SureVoIP instant setup' block. A number lookup widget that allows users to find a number based on their location or code, with number/text based number filtering. Coded in Javascript and jQuery with parameters sent to web service and delivered back in JSON.
